Walk: Duckholes Trail

IMG 4722Registration essential

Bob Conroy will lead us on a fire ecology, fire management and Aboriginal site management themed walk down the Terrey Hills and Duckhole Trails. We will visit two Aboriginal sites, see some interesting vegetation types and finish with refreshments at the Coal and Candle Rural Fire Brigade (Bob is their deputy captain). If you'd like, you can make a tax-deductible donation to the brigade.

Note: In the case of wet or extreme weather, Bob will make a presentation followed by a Q&A session.

Date: Sunday 17 November
Time: 8.45 for 9 am
Length: 6 km (3 h)

Meet: 301A McCarrs Creek Road (next to Coal and Candle Rural Fire Brigade)
Weather issues: mostly open woodland and heathland so sun exposure is a factor
